Henry nodded, finally giving her a smile. Jason though, looked away, still concerned. "Just be careful."

She looked at the two humans. "I'm never anything but careful. My kind are trained to protect others. how can we defend others if we do not look after ourselves?" It was rather logical to her, and she knew that. There were some things that she would never understand about humans.
"My job is to defend you, and for the meantime, that is what I shall do."
Richard looked at her for a moment. "How can you even be real?"
"Well, I know this is not a dream, due to being stuck by lightning before. That is not something one would ever imagine happening to themselves. Unless they were of ill mind."

Henry looked over at her and smiled. "Good point. But if this is a dream- maybe I should just kiss you in front of all these people," Henry grinned, winking at Jenny. Jason rolled his eyes- unimpressed. "This is very real- and so is the dangers behind those doors."

"to toy woith the emotions of one like me is a very bad idea, Henry. Just because I looke human, well, except for the wings, does not mean that I am one. Angel's have been known to hold grudges, but those are normally reserved for the spawn of Satan. would not want you to be one fo the first humans to be seen in such a light. That is why I warn you. In a fight you would stand no chance against me."
She sighed, knowing that though the threats were real in her voice, she would enver hurt a single human. Not while she was here for training. "I will still defend myself, even against one of you, though I have to admit humans are by far the easiest of thigs for me to defend against."

Henry backed away- looking as if he had just been slapped. "I... I'm sorry," he stuttered, straightening his back. "I thought that you like me- have feelings for me..." His face reddened, falling silent. "I'm sorry," he mumbled, and left the room- being the first to enter through the crimson door to another world.

She sighed, then headed for the door as well, reaching out with ehr mind as she entered. "Henry, I did not mean it like that, honestly. Just to say that this was adream and that you would kiss me like that was something that could easily have offended me." She sighed as she flew down to land in front of him. "I truly am sorry, what i said was wrong."
For her to admit that she had been in the wrong was a rare thing. Angel's were not meant to admit their failings. "Can you forgive me?"

Henry looked back at her, silent for a moment before giving her a breif nod. Her words had stung, and he was all ready trying not to think about it. "Forgiven," he said gravely. Henry looked around, observing the world. The grass was bright green, and the sky was like the colour of the ocean. The trees were three times bigger- though most of them were bare. Considering the sun shine, the air around them was crisp and cold. Henry shivered.

She managed to smile at him for a moment. “I really am sorry.” She sighed. “I still have much to learn about interacting with the humans of your world. My words were way too hasty.” Her eyes moved away from him though as she scanned the skies for what she needed. “We better get back to the others.”
how far in exactly she had followed him, she knew not. She was glad though to have found him, and her wings seemed to be shaking for some reason.
The eyes roamed and them she growled.

Henry sighed, the others weren't far behind- the entrance was still in view. "You're forgiven," he replied in a low voice. His eyes narrowed, trying to see what danger might be lurking nearby. A low growl came from Jenny. His eye brow raised, he gazed at her with a questionable look. Another growl, much louder instead replied. A shadow appeared from behind a hill. It was a creature with scaley wings and lizard like body. The head reminded him of a dragon- though there was something different about it. The mouth was snarling, revealing its bloodied teeth. Henry took a step back, forcing Jenny behind him out of instinct. Big owl like eyes stared back at them with a menacing glare. Slowly, he backed away- trying to hide beneath the trees. The creature roared- slashing at the trees; knocking them down with a loud crash. "RUN!" he screamed. He grabbed hold of Jenny's hand and began to rush back towards their friends- some of which had weapons. He swallowed hard- hoping that they would equip him with a sword.

For a few moments she did run, but then she knew she would have to fight. Quickly she rolled out of his grasp and crouched where she was, ready.
Henry would be able to make it to the others, but right now, she knew that even with her wings they were no match for the monster. She glared back as it snapped at Henry, and then something random happened for her. Something they had only spoken of at her school, for she had been too young back then to be able to do so. Now though it seemed that she was older and able to do so. A million supernovas exploded as tight, knotted balls of energy drew together and then detonated within her. It was a mixture of the most exquisit pain and the hugest adrenalin rush that she had ever felt and she was completely consumed by it. Her body was rigid and stiff as every mucles in it locked, and she felt an uncomfortable pulling sensation deep in her bones as they thickened and elongated. Muscle hypertrophied, and she could sense the new power within her. A tail burst from her rear, tufted at the end for it was that of a lion. A beak appeared where her mouth had been, and her eyes became that of an eagle. The hair on her neck turned to long soft black feathers, covering to her human waist. The rest of her was covered in lion's fur. Thick cruel looking talons burst from her fingers.
To her it seemed to go on for years, but to the others watching, it only took a few seconds for her body to change.
And then nothing.
The pain that she had tried to retreat from so utterly was gone as quickly as it had come. Jenny opened her eyes and looked down at the others.
"Holy Mary, mother of God, will you look at the size of her?" Richard muttered, from where he stood, having drawn his sword.
A seven foot tall, black as night gryphon stood before them.

Jason couldn't help but to stare- not believing what he knew to be true. Henry grinned, it was a suprise- though not an unpleasant one. "Wow," Henry gasped in awe. "Even as a creature- you're gorgeous!" Jason glared at him, then rushed forward, launching him out of the way. The dragon's claw ripped through his father's arm, disarming him. Jason cried out in pain. Henry blinked, suddenly focused again- picking up his father's sword. "You vile beast- how'd you like it if I cut down your father?!" Jason rolled his eyes. "It can't understand you, Henry!" Henry sighed, refraining from disagreeing with him. Though the dragon was a beast- he had always thought that the dragons could understand just fine.

She snarled, knowing that things were about to get really really ugly for all of them. With one sweep of her wings she was airbourne. She knew that most dragons needed to be able to see to fight effectively. Glaring at the monster, and paying no heed to what henry had said for it would only distract her at the moment, she dove towards the dragon's head, pecking hard at its eyes. There was no doubt she hated it when people got hurt when she was around. And this was just one of the many times that had happened.
The wings beat heavily as she soared forwards and lunged at one of the eyes. Though she was tiny in comparison to the great scaled head, she was more than ready to distract it, though she knew she had to be very careful this time. He would just love an angel for a meal.

The dragon growled again, sweeping Jenny across the chest. Henry charged forward, cutting the dragon's tail and hind leg. It screeched, swiping Henry across the chest. Henry cried out in pain, hurtling backwards from the force of the attack. Jason picked himself up- seeing his son hurt, his anger boiled. He took back his sword and threw himself on the beast's back; slicing the creature's throat. Hurtling forwards back towards the hard ground, Jason rolled out of the way of the creature as it landed on the hard, dry soil with a loud thud. Dust from the dirt rose around the creature, covering the gang with a layer of dust. The land fell silent, apart from the weak weazing from Henry, who slowly climbed to his feet. Covered in blood and severely wounded, he stumbled forwards. "I think we should find shelter- I'm in no condition for another battle," Henry announced; breaking the silence.

She fell as the attack hit her as well, knowing though it would not kill her, but it would weaken her as well. It was then she realized just which angel was in this world and she knew it was an old friend. For there high in the sky, watching them, was another of her kind. Jenny gasped as she saw the other woman soaring towards them, Would she help? Or hinder?
She collided with the ground in her normal appearance and grimaced. It had been one of the roughest landings she had had before in her life. She could feel herself repairing though. She got back to her feet, moving over towards the others. "Sounds like a good idea, though we happen to have been noticed by another of my kind. We're lucky though, this angel is a freind of mine."

Henry narrowed his eyes, trying to see who the angel was. "Hi. We could do with the help," he greeted. Jason nodded, his eyes transfixed on the figure standing before him. "Don't I know you?" He asked.
