Ashleigh Mary Lewis
Ashleigh Marie Night as a human, Ashleigh Lewis as a Hunter of the Dark. Her nickname as a Hunter of the Dark is Deathbringer, she is a tough challenge for any vampyre to fight and beat. This is only because she has trained herself hard while at school and will accept any challenge offered by her teachers. There are many who have lost their lives to her. She is eighteen when she is chosen to become a Hunter and was born on 15 September 1991.
Ashleigh was not single as a human and she did love her boyfriend, John. However that is soon ended when she reveals to him her mark, humans cannot date any of the Hunters, Prowlers of Wardens. She never really finds any guys worth her at her new school.
Her hair is a right golden colour and she usually has it done up in a bun, held in place by two golden star clips, that can actually be used as weapons if she is threatened out of the school grounds. Her eyes are light silver and go a deep reddish gold when she changes into a golden furred lioness. She is about 6'11'' in height. Her body is muscular and she loves to practise all the things her human body could not handle now that she is a demon.
She is pure Australian, with a touch of English blood back when Captain Cook first landed in Sydney Harbour many years ago. Therefore she can only speak English well.
Though she is an Australian girl she is rich and can afford any piece of clothing she could possibly want in her life. It is not as good as seeing her friends though, the ones who of which one is an ally the other a forced enemy. Even with her vast amount of money, she still settles for jeans and crop tops.
Her parents, Judy Night and Aaron Night, were oblivious to the ancient struggle going on at night between the demons, of which their daughter is now one and the werewolves and vampyres. They mainly spend their days running the family bookstore, of which Jen and Angeline were good customers. Ashleigh has no siblings.
Ashleigh was friends with Angeline and Jenny as a human. Not to mention she still is friends with Angeline, as Angeline is a Prowler of the Darkness, who are allies with the demons. Her new friends at the demon school are Tabetha Cole, Dan Brown and Jorge Kaskin.
Her enemies are all the winged bloodsuckers of the night, including Jennifer, though this pains her. Her new life has a motto that says: 'If seen by a vampyre, kill them' only her past friendship with Jen sees to keep Jen alive nowadays.
She believes like every other demon that humans are simply around for hunting practise. The only humans she will not hurt are her parents and even their love for her is slowly been faded into nothing.
Her only career choice and dream is to rid the world of vampyres once and for all. They are the only threat to her people and she wants to ensure her own race's survival even if it were to mean killing the one person who's been a friend for ten years. She dreams about becoming the best demon there possibly is.
She has no particular speech patterns and frequently used phrases as yet.
Ashleigh is most happy spending time with her friends even if it does mean watching geeky sci-fi movies.
She likes to sneak out and see her friends, Jenny and Angeline, when Jenny is on the prowl looking for humans being attacked. Sometimes she will attack a human just to get Jenny’s attention. Occasionally, she and Jenny fight for practise.
She dislikes always being told that vampyre’s are the enemy and that her friendship with Jenny must cease to exist. Ashleigh loathes the fact that one day she may be the one to kill Jenny.
Ashliegh fears the day that her werewolf mind figures out that Jenny is simply another loathsome bloodsucker, and the implications of her realising that.
Her strengths could be that she is a loyal member of her new life, or that she is a considerate person. Her only weakness is that she is too logical for her own good.
She is also a perfectionist, analytical, demanding, tidy, organised, critical minded, knowledgeable, inquisitive cautious, shy, innocent. She lives life to its fullest.
