"Luckily for you, I'm one of the few vampires who can actually eat other food. The rest are liquid diet only. Seeing as I am not purely vampire, but other things as well, I need to eat actual food." She chuckled. "Arch angel part of me thrives around happy people, the werewolf and demon in me are what need real food."
She laughed.
"Though I can survive on any particular one, it is good that I sate the other parts as well. And it sounds like a lovely idea." It was clear that she was eager to give him a go, though she knew that she had already found out when Rudi's funeral was as well.
"Two funerals within twenty four hours of each other... great. I'm going to need somoene to help me cheer up inbetween." She looked out the window. "Wonder where Ashleigh got to."

The door opened and Ashleigh stepped through into the bar, followed by Melody and Marvin; who was arguing about whether or not to save magic. "It's not your choice!" Melody spat. Marvin shook his head, snarling at her. "It's not your job!"
Ashleigh rolled her eyes, rubbing her head temples.

"What on earth are you two argueing about? I might eb able to help you know, I've been around over 500 years." Jenny chuckled though, knowing what she was doing at the moment. There were some things that simply caught her attention seeing as she was one of the magic.
"If magic was to die out, my entire race would die out, as would Ashleigh's and many others I've known in my time. Though I have personaly been responsible for some of them dying, having killed them off myself because they threatened my world's existance."
She looked at Ashleigh. "What took you so long?" Then she looked at Henry. "Where do you want to go?"

Melody glared at Marvin before explaining her situation to Jenny. "Back in my world, I used my gift to heal the world. It tore the fabric of reality, which sealed itself when I went through the breech. But because I tore the fabric of reality, the magic was affected in this world. In my world there are dragons, rain, cold weather and can grow plants without greenhouses. But here, have any of you seen a dragon? Felt the rain- or even had cold weather? Since I have been here, it's either been foggy or humid!" Marvin shook his head, "It's not your job to save the magic!" Melody ignore him, continuing her explanation. "Magic here is in dorment- like in a coma. If I don't save the magic- by getting a crystalyst from the frozen wasteland- magic will die out completely. I know what that leads to- the end of the world. Without magic, this world will die. Marvin here seems to think that just because one village dont want me to save the world- the rest of the towns and cities, and countries should die too." "After that" she finished, "I need to get a special stone from the Hells Desert, so that I can go through the bar gateway back to my own world." "You're exaggerating. The world won't die. It'll stay how it is- safe!" Marvin growled.

"You're wrong, Marvin. Being one who communes with the elements, I know when something is not balanced. If this heat keeps up, all the water supplies on this planet will evaporate. When that happens those of us who cmmune with that element will die. That is, if we do not have other elements in us. In that way, I am safe, but one of my freinds is purely a water user."
She sighed. "I may be able to help you with what you have to do, though i know that you have limited time before the water completely leaves this place. Soon, it'll be drawing on my strength to keep it there."

Marvin shook his head, still dominant. "The air is always moist, so the plants won't die. There's planty of water in the streams and lakes." Melody shook his head, "The magic has frozen everything- or haven't you noticed?"

She sighed, and then glared at Marvin. "It has happened on other worlds, Marvin. I have lost many kin to such things." It was clear she was annoyed. "If you want I can help you, Melody, surely having more people helping would make searching for this crystalyst easier and more quickly found. I know that we have one in our possession from such a place at the school I run."

Melody nodded, feeling a little more relaxed. "There's a book in the library that says it's in the icy wasteland. The magic stone though, is in the desert. My magic works in here- but outside, I am powerless." She thought for a moment, "I still need to go to the desert- but if you have the crystalyst, it'd save a lot of time."

"Shouldn't be too difficult, no matter where i am, my magic works. Only some places are more taxing than others." She smiled. "I might go get the one I'm talking about from the school, we've had it for at least one hundred years, ever since another vampire academy was built out in the icy wasteland. They found it when the school was being built."
If it was one thing she was known for, it was how much she liked helping others. "I'll be back shortly."
Heading outside she seemed to create a portal, and stepped through vanishing as the portal closed around her. Finding her way to where the thing was, she created another portal and stepped back through it to the bar, this time creating the other end inside the building, where there was nothing that would break.
Moving over to Melody she opened the box to reveal what looked like an icicle, which held the appirition of being made from glass. All of them could feel the power inside it. "Is this it?"

Melody's eyes widened. "Yes, that's it!" she gasped. She began to pace across the room. "Now we need to get it to the place where the breech was. It's about half hour walk from here- in the little village opposite the library. According to the book, we have to bury it- so that it would restore magic- but only half bury it."

"Should not be too difficult. At least while that hole is being dug, well, it will be protected. I'm not about to let a whole world be destroyed, its against what i am." She was a protector of words after all. "World dies, i die." She looked at Henry, who had been silent for a while. "Is something wrong, henry/"

Henry remained silent a little longer, a worried expression spreaded across his face. "Not just you dying," he replied hoarsely. "If magic dies, the world dies; including everything on it. Plants, trees, fishes, bugs, animals, and all of creatures and beings will perish too."

"I'm the only thing that is ever stopping that from happening, Henry. It's part of who I am, and its not something I was able to choose to become. Not something I really want to be resposible for, but hey, I have to look out for the things i want to keep alive."
She sighed, moving across to him, after hiding the box again under her own clothes. "This will work, I know it." She smiled at him. there wasn nothing but confidence radiating from her. Then she looked at Marvin. "I know your hiding something from Melody. She may not be a mind reader, but I am, and you can't hide things from me, no matter how hard you try!"
Looking at Henry again, she smiled. "Once this is over with, we can go out like you asked earlier. Right now though, I have something to make sure happens."

Marvin glared at Melody, keeping silent about his village. Melody knew the promise the villagers made. They told her time and time again, that they are willing to kill her if she ever returned. 'Now' he thought grimly, 'we can returning anyway. We're going to be greeted with a death sentence... well, she is.' Melody glared back at her companions bitter expression. "You can go home now if you want- I don't want you being a hindrence instead of help." Marvin shrugged, "Fine." 'I can go home and not be killed along side her. I'll be a village hero, and watch her death from the audience.' He glared at Jenny, shrugging his shoulders. "She knows going to the village is trouble," he reported mildly.

"I doubt the villagers are any match for an arch angel," she retorted. "There is no end to the things I can do to help her out there. Nor will they find themselves able to defeat me in any way." She sighed. "While I will not usually fight humans, I will not let them kill each other either. Just go, Marvin."
Her strength was completely back inside her and she was pleased by that. There was nothing that would be able to stop them now. "Now there is nothing that will have the strength over me."
