Beginning
George Groundsman gets caught cheating on his wife with a receptionist. His wife, Nadine, writes him a letter and leaves.
The cheating husband is a writer and also a convict.
The next day, he is found murdered with a flower pot.
The wife, the girlfriend and the publisher are all suspects.
The wife gets arrested. The bounty hunter, who found the body, discovers a final page in the manuscript.
The rest was sitting on the publisher's desk.
Middle
The bounty hunter and the detective interrogates the girlfriend, who worked at a hotel.
She mentions that the manuscript was not yet complete so the publisher had no reason to have it on his desk.
The bounty hunter, Warren, and the Detective called Sarah, sets the trap for the killer to find.
They go back to the publishers office, and discover the publisher is dead. He has been injected with a whole jar of coffee.
The amount of caffine had given the publisher a heart attack.
Ending
Warren and Sarah now knows that Nadine is innocent.
They look at the appointment book to see who saw the publisher before he died. The manuscript was stuck in a paper shredder and was jammed.
A man called Harry, was the last person in the appointments.
Harry was confronting the publisher about the publisher having the book under his publishers name. Carl simply laughed, having destroyed the origonal MS, there was no proof.
Carls wife also was visiting, to get a divorce.
After the wife left, the receptionist confronted the man who killed her lover, but she denies killing him.
Warren and Sarah then goes through the evidence. Nadine was still in the holding cell, so couldnt be her.
Though, Sophia, the publishers wife and harry all had a motive.
Sarah goes back, asking for alibies for the time of death.
Harry was in his flat asleep. No witnesses.
The wife alibi was going to the shop for cigarettes, and had a receipt to prove it.
Sophia left the country, forcing Warren and Sarah to follow her.
She commits another murder, granting her the death sentence. Sophia said that she was walking through the park, no witnesses. Sarah and Warren go home to check out the alibi.
Warren and Sarah go to the park, seeing if anyone remembers her.
They discover the park was closed and locked.
It becomes clear that she was lying. They return to Chalkwell Hallows to confront Sophia once again.
Warren frowned, thinking how to get the receptionist to admit to the man's murder.
Warren and Sarah lies to the receptionist, telling her that the fingerprints were found at the crime scene. In haste to rid of her own prints, she also rid of other prints as well. But forgot to wipe her own fingerprints from the door knob.
Reluctantly, she confesses to over-hearing them talking about the publisher being the killer. So, she went over to the office to confront the killer. He laughed and said that no one had proof.
She tells them that she told the publisher they had proof, and that he had left behind one of the pages. He checks the Manuscript, went pale then began to try and shred the evidence.
Sophia explains that she noticed a syringe in his bag. She picks it up whilst he was trying to unjam the shredder. She sees the freshly boiled water on the table. She then takes the coffee, pours in the water, then injects the coffee into his neck.
The man had a heart attack and died. She emptied the rest of the contents down the sink, wiped everything down before leaving.
The woman is put to death, and then Warren leaves with Sarah before saying goodbye and going seperate ways. [/size]
