I am writing a Fantasy Novel about a healer who goes to the other side of the universe. The magic is comatose and Melody has to go get a crystal to repair the magic.

Since the magic wasn't working properly in the universe, Melody's own gift wasn't working either- so couldn't heal with her gift, or kill with it.
