Jenny looked out after the odd looking drone thing. This was something she doubted very much. "Even someone who is not from their world? They would not recognise me surely.” She very much doubted that whoever set up that rule would do something like kill someone who would be a potential ally. She sighed. “That rule’s just stupid. Who started it?” She only looked out the window to stop them from seeing the guilt in her expression from killing her own people.

Genelia sighed. "The dark queen, of course. Since Marissa's absence, the rules have became harsh. She thinks that one of us have her captured- so after three, no one is allowed out. The soldiers will be in the streets soon- looking for her." Hansel nodded. "It's nearing the deadline date; God only knows what will happen next."

Jenny sighed. “Then don’t hide me. It’ll only make things worse. I alone know what happened to her. I was there. I guess I should do what I can to sort this mess out.” She knew she had to do something. These people should not suffer for what she did.

"Are- are you sure? I'm telling you, the queen is seriously demented." Genelia gasped. Hansel nodded, "She's right. Your crazy to go see her. We'll go with you."

In a way she felt touched that these two strangers were willing to come wih her. She couldn't let them do that. "It's far too dangerous for you. I'm a Guardian which means I must protect the in ice t of whatever world I'm on. This is what I'm born to do."
She sighed. If I can tak out the daughter then she shouldn't be a problem for me, she thought to herself. Then she reached out as strongly as she could with her mind. Searching for the creatures that were released after dark. "I've more chance of evading being detected on my own."

Hansel and Genelia stood facing her, looking more grave. "It's our job too. We are the protectors of this land. Among others, of course."

She shook her head. "I can't risk you both. That would be wrong for either of you to get into trouble for something I alone know about. No one else knows the truth about where Marissa ended up." Aside from Henry, she thought. Which is why I cannot tell him what I'm planning to do. He, she knew would not approve. She had of course not managed to tell him about the rest of her race though. "I know I have to settle this, and then get home."

Hansel frowned. "I understand you need to do your job, but so do we, so let's do them. You deal with the queen, we'll deal with the trouble getting there. They know us; so they may grant us access through their lands. And we deal with law breakers too." "We protect as well as punish. You can't just dismiss us, it's our home," Genelia cried.

She winced. "And there's the thing I'm afraid of. Some of the things I have to tell her... I warn you now you won't like but my actions were warranted and justice was part of them." She groaned. She did not want to cause them to know that she was responsible for how things were now. Why couldn't they see that. She decided to try another track. "If I let you guide me to where she resides... Will you let me go in alone to face her? There are things I do not wish you to witness hearing."

Gemelia and Hansel sighed. "Yes, we'll let you go inside alone to face her. On the promise that if things get bad- like seriously out numbered bad- then we'll intervene. But we will gladly guide you, say what's need to be said without us. After that, if things turn bad, you must let us do our jobs." Gemelia nodded, "We don't forsake privacy, but safety is what we must ensure." Hansel could see Gemelia was worried, he tried to ignore her scales becoming a dark and dusty colour. She was a worried, but this time he feared she had good reason. He pointed north-east, with a frown. "We need supplies."

"Don't worry about bringing anything along for me. I will provide for myself." She had already done enough damage by involving these two.

Hansel kept a weary eye on the stranger. Gemelia though, had taken to the woman. "what's it like- where you come from? Is it like ours. Villages and light green leaves...?"

She raised an eyebrow at the questions that she got this time. "What''s 'what' like" she asked. What had been said here made utterly no sense to her. This was why she did not let herself get too close to others who were not of her own kind, and who were not like Henry!

Gemelia shrank back, offended by her tone. "Sorry," she muttered. She straightened her back, and composed herself. "We'll see you through to where you need to go," she announced almost coldly. "From there, you're on your own. I am sure there are other things i can get on with than being nice." Hansel frowned. "Gemelia? What's got into you?" Gemelia glared at him, but said nothing. 'And to think- i wanted to know more about her home... I heard people talk about purple grass...' She thought silently. She stormed off, digging her heals into the dirt.

"Purple grass? If its to do with my homeland thats rumour alone." She sighed. "I'm sorry if I come off as rather unfriendly at times, but I am a lone guardian. My world was obliterated, only lingering on in my memory now." She thought for a few moments. "I am but a Keeper now. A gaurdian of all the realms."
