"Taht might jsut work to get rid of that infernal thing once and for all," she chuckled. There was no chance it could block someone like that, could it? "Sounds like a good idea, I'll talk to karen about it." She left then, leaving him alone for at least an hour. She came back though, with two others. Her werewolf freinds. "Come on you two this is the bar I was telling you about." She entered this time, not being bothered by the barrier which was a relief. She smiled at Henry. "This is James and Kristy. James was Rudi's betta." The tall black haired man with her smiled, as did the red haired lady.

Henry grinned, holding Jenny's hand in greeting. "Have you thought about my offer?" he whispered, not wanting strangers to over hear. Marissa especially seemed eager to join in. "What's the secret?" she purred. Theo walked over to her, grasping her arm tightly. "You know, curiousity doesn't just kill the cats," he stated. Marissa fell silent, turning her nose at everyone- understanding Theo clearly.

"That is very true, curiousity does not kill the cat," Jenny laughed. "And I did Henry. I talked with Karen as well, and she's happy about the idea as well. She know's I'll be safe with you."
Drannor smiled, he was slowly figuring out different things about the people that we were around him. Sure he heard everything, but nothing did he react to unless there was a threat to himself or to Gem, in which case he would tell Haemir or Glenawing.

Henry smiled, throwing his arms around Jenny. "You're going to love it here," he exclaimed proudly.
Theo watched the scene unfold, sipping at his drink. "Three cheers for the happy couple!" he shouted.
Victor raised his own glass, cheering along with the others. "Hip Hip Harray!" The gang lit the room up with celebrated cheer.
Marissa sat in the corner, glaring at the celebration. "Humbug," she muttered, cursing silently. "They won't last long. Death to 'em all."

"Not likely, Marissa. I happen to be immortal here. Due to reasons I will not bother to tell you, Henry is also in a way. he'll live as long as I do." Drannor chuckled, he knew what i meant, but I did not care about him being in my head. At least everyone else here was happy for us. That was all that mattered at the moment. "And I know I will," i replied to Henry. The two werewolves though were tense. I stared at them for a few moments, shocked by what was going on in their heads. Then I let out an absoloutely unhimane feral sounding snarl.

Henry grinned, satisfyed with the stunned look on Marissa's face. "That doesn't mean you'll live happily ever after," she retorted. Henry glared at her, concerned with her meaning. 'I'm going to bring this place down- that'll teach you for speaking back at me!' Henry glanced at Jenny, noticing by her expression, Marissa wasnt thinking of buying flowers or thinking of bunnies.
Henry sighed, looking at the clock on the wall. It was new, replacing the broken clock from three months previous. He hoped that by morning, Marissa would have got bored with her rudeness and moved on.

A wave of power shot from her, she was really furious now. "You have no right to be here threatening a place that has been around for generations, Marissa." Her eyes flashed from their normal green to a bloody red, staying at the red. "I could drain you dry with a bite. Only thing stopping me, is not wanting to do any damage to this place. Summon anything here, with the intent to destroy this bar, and you'll die before you even completely summon something!"
Even Drannor, who was the strongest of the elves spell casters, stared at her in amazement. She was by far more powerful than him. "You won't be alone there, madam. Begging your pardon, as well as Henry's but I got a good feel of what this place means to you, thanks to my own gifts. You don't stand alone defending this place."
"What are you saying?" Gem asked. She was looking from him to Marrisa and back again.
"I might warn you, this is a direct quote from Marissa's thoughts... I'm going to bring this place down- that'll teach you for speaking back at me!" he did an excellent mimic of her voice.
Both werewolves and the two elven gaurds gasped.
"How dare you!" James snarled. Like any werewolf who felt threatened, Kristy and himself were shaking.

Oooooo...
--
Marissa looked around slowly, watching as the whole room glared at her. Not that she was afraid. "You all think that you're better than me!" she announced accusingly. "You all were born into money, none of you know me. You and you're curses!"
Henry frowned. How was she planning to burn the place down?
He stood frozen, as Marissa took advantage of everyone's shock.
Slowly, she pulled out a match. She struck it against the sand paper, and the flame jumped to attention. "Anyone move, and this whole place is going to turn into nothing but rubble. RUBBLE!"
Standing behind Marissa, Victor glanced up at the flame. Fire, was the one thing he was not a stranger to in this world. He was born into a house full of flames and torches. He crept behind the woman, ignoring her threats.
"The doors are locked, and you'd all die with this place!"
Victor stood on a seat, towering over the woman. He blew out the flame, causing the queen to turn and face him. "How dare-"
"Don't you threaten me!" he bellowed, cutting her short. His voice sounded deep for someone so small. The air around him shook. "You aren't fit to speak within these walls! I am a peaceful elf- but the last thing you want to do is aggravate me! Trust me, I am not without my own talents and gifts! Fire- being one of them!"

"He is not the only one with the control of the flame. You realise not that I coudl call a tsnuami worth of water into here within a second of you setting anything alight? Not to mention command flame not to obey any but me?"
Jenny really was furious, she never had outbursts like this before. When someone threatened the things that were important to her though, it was a serious offense for her. She cared about this place a lot and if there were going to be elements used here in malicious ways, well... there would be a lot of things I would do to stop such a thing from happening. I really did care about the others in this room.
"I don't defend worlds from distruction to have someone think she's more important out of everyone in a group. Threats like you, Marissa, I defend the planet against. James, Kristy and Henry all know that. You really don't want to test me when it comes to one of the elements, I will sieze control."

Marissa blinked, still staring at her snuffed out flame. "You all have gifts, and special powers," she insisted angrily. "What the hell do I have?" she demanded. She glared at everyone in the room. 'I've all ready made my mind up- you can't stop me!' Marissa picked up her bag and began to head for the bathroom.
Inside, she began to pull out a long rope and tied a loop at one end. With the other end, she tied the looped roped onto a beam. She closed the door and climbed up, level with the loop. Sliding her head through, she thumbled for a match and struck it. Once again, a flame jumped to her command.

The flame at the match she had hissed out as Jenny commanded it silently not to do Marissa's bidding. Another thought and the rope that she had was vanished into thin air, no longer able to be used against anyone else. "Don't even try it," she growled.
There was nothing she wanted more than for her second home to be safe.

The door swung open. Marissa glared at the woman who had once again crossed her. "I should have locked the door," she muttered. Henry walked in, glaring at the woman, stil standing on his furniture. "Maybe you should leave my pub," he told Marissa firmly. Marissa nodded, avoiding eye contact with any of the punters. "I'll be back," she hissed.

"Oh yeah, you and who's army? Get within a mile and a half of my mind and you'll find yourself thwarted again, Marissa," she growled as the woman left. If it came to a fight, well, she was always eager for one, not to mention ready to fight.
Marissa did not even know the half of what she could do, nor did Henry for that matter. She sighed though as she watched the human leave.
Then she looked at Henry, thinking. "Perhaps I should remove this place from her memories? I can still it from here, all it takes is a little bit of compulsion, Henry."
She smiled. It seemed a good way to stop Marissa...

Henry sighed, "I wish we could, but it's against the rules- because of it's magic between univeerses, we should tamper with it. But, we can put up a barrier against her- stop her getting through."

"That I can do.. though it'll keep her a good distance away from here, at all times. And I won't have to maintain it either. Gaurdiaus' people are trained to do things like that." She laughed, as her huge ebony wings spread out behind her, as she muttered things in a language no other occupant in the room would ever understand, not even Henry. There was a loud buzzing and clicking sound, then at the end a screech of annoyance as Marissa was thrown away, at least a mile away by her barrier. "She can't get wthin a mile of us, nor can anything she sends at us."
