Henry nodded, tears streamed down his cheeks. Melody sighed, gently moving Henry aside. "Ok. This won't hurt. Just... try to keep still; sleep if you need to. By the time you wake up- you will be back to your full health." Not waiting for Jenny to follow her instructions, she hovered her hands over Jenny's body, her own eyes closed. She knew that this would take a lot of energy, and hoped that her help wouldnt be taken for granted- like her own clients back home had done repeatedly. She healed cancer without so much as a thank-you in return. Her hands glowed as her power began to work- slowly the blood began to receed back into the wounds it came from. There was a lot of it- and replacing all the blood was impossible. Melody knew, acting quickly before the blood dried would be essential to saving the woman's life. "Henry, please get some liquids for this woman- she's going to need it," she instructed distantly. Henry nodded, shuffling off to get a bottle of blood; and slipping a straw through the bottle's neck. Whilst Henry assisted Jenny, Melody continued to work. Sweat gathered across her brow and her hands shook from the effort.
Hours passed. Melody remained standing beside Jenny, her hands hovering over the woman. Finally, most of the blood receeded, she began to heal the cuts. That didn't take so much effort, though she had very little energy left to give. The cuts healed, each layer of skin at a time. Melody barely noticed the colour returning to Jenny's complexion; though the loss of blood still left her looking fairly pale. Another hour passed. Melody stood, gasping for breath- her hands trembled and shook. Finally, the remaining cuts and bruises vanished.
Melody stumbled back, leaning against a chair. "There. It is done," she whispered, her voice was hoarse.

She hadn't slept at all, it felt too odd having someone else heal her. Though the blood that she was able to drink from the straw was able to stabilise her, it was not making her any stronger at the moment. No, she knew what she needed, and there was no chance she was asking any of the humans in here. It was against the way she was, to ask any of them. She would have to find another way.
Though she knew that it showed on her face right now. The need for more than what she'd gotten. The chilled blood she had had was not enough.... She needed fresh blood... straight from a human's neck. And that was something she was really uncomfortable for her to have to deal with.
She was not one for hurting someone that way, though she knew that if the person was willing then it was not meant to hurt. The only one who had ever really been willing though was dead now, and there was no bringing him back. Well... she knew there was not, seeing as it had been too long since Rudi died.

Henry smiled weakly, recognising the hungry look in Jenny's eyes. He had seen people, creatures hungry before- like a craving that needed satisfying. He walked to his fridge, pulling out another bottle of blood. "Here," he said, passing it to her. "Drink it slowly- it should help," Henry told her.

She sighed. "No, it won't help. I got what I could from the other one." That was something she was not pleased about at the moment. She cared about him,s he knew hshe did, but there was no chance she was going to be the one to broach that subject.

Henry paled, realising the truth of the situation for her to survive. He cleared his throat, his hands trembled. "Ashleigh," he said gravely, "could you go across town and get me some more bottles. She'll need them to keep recovering." Ashleigh nodded, slipping a coat on before rushing out of the door.
As soon as Ashleigh was out of ear shot, he washed his neck with a damp cloth. He looked in a mirror, staring silently for a moment before turning to Jenny. "Listen," he sighed, smiling weakly. "Take what you can from me- just... try and keep me alive if you can." He knew that she would unlikely take the risk, it was near fatal. "I want to do this- I want you to live."

She sighed. She knew she had to. Though there was at least one thing that would keep him safe. "Even if I did kill you, I can bring you back to life, thanks to one of my elements. Though there is one problem with that."
She paused. "Spirit can bring you back, only, if I was to die, so would you. There would be a bond between us that cannot be broken by anything except death. Though if I was in danger, you'd be able to use it to see where I am, out of my own eyes."

Henry frowned, trying to make sense of what she was trying to say. "I'll do whatever it takes to keep you alive," he said defiantly. He sat down beside her, "I'll do anything to keep you alive. I mean anything."

He didn't get it, she knew as she sat up slowly, wincing as she did. "How long was I out of this time?" she asked. She was a little confused. Looking out of the window for a minute, she was surpised. her sword was not where it was, and there was nothing there to show a struggle. Nor an outline of a man which should have been Slargon. She said nothing though, knowing it could wait. Then she looked at him. "It's your choice though. Do you want me to bring you back if I go too far?"

Henry sighed. "If it'll make you happy," he replied. He looked at a large clock hanging beside the alcohol. "You was unnconsious for about five minutes," he answered.

She chuckled quietly. Though she was not sure what she was going to do, she knew that she would not be able to live without him. "I would not be able to live without you." It was something that she did not find fair really. She really did care about him, a lot. "Five minutes?" she shrugged it off. Then she looked at Melody and Marvin. "Could you two leave us alone for a few minutes? And thank you, Melody for helping me."

Melody nodded, grabbing Marvin before leaving the room. "I'll keep your friend busy, so she don't intrude," Melody offered. She didn't know much about other universes, but she knew when people wanted privacy- and not just from strangers in a bar. "Where we going?" Marvin asked uncomfortably. Melody shrugged, "We're going outside for some fresh air," she replied firmly.

She nodded her thanks, looking at Henry. She really hated being the weak one, it was not something that suited her all that well. This was the one thing she normally refused to do. it had always been Rudi before, who never noticed the blood going from him seeing as he produced it so quickly. With a human it was a lot slower and she knew she would have to be extremely careful with how much she took.
It was a thing that she was clearly uncomfortable with at the moment. She really did not want to go too far this time. At least she was good with the elements so even if she did, she knew she would be able to bring him back easily enough. She knew there were some things that she would not use the elements for, but she would certainly bring him back. Standing, she found she was not too shaky on her feet as she moved to stand beside him.
Then she bit into his warm, soft throat, trying not to think about the pleasure she always got when she had done this at Rudi's insistence. It was too hard though and she knew she would be lost within that soon. Not that she could break free of that any time soon. It was something she was powerless about. She only drank for a few minutes, stopping in horror when she felt him slump in her arms. She knew what had happened.
Extremely worried, she thought the words that would bring him back to her, seeing as she knew that he was completely gone. The beautiful loving feeling that was spirit rushed through her and into him, starting him back to life and healing him completely from the blood she's taken. Her arms tightened with their old strength as it did, she knew what he would feel like. A little disoriented, but that only lasted for about thirty seconds.

Henry groaned as his eyes flickered open. "wha...." he shook his head, dazed and light headed. "Did I pass out?" he asked, not too concerned.

"I had to bring you back," she replied. She sighed. This would complicate things. She could feel his emotions now, more clearly than she ever had, and that was rather disconcerting. "Now I have to adjust as well, you can feel my emotions as i can yours."

Henry blinked, smiling at her. "That's a nice thought," he grinned, putting his tongue in his cheek. His eyes sparkled brightly, admiring jenny in silence. "I'm hungry. How about I take you out for a meal?"
