Melody walks in the bar, warily watching the empty room. Marvin followed closely behind her.

There was something about this bar that she was familiar with. As though there was someone inside that she knew. She glanced through one of the windows her mind made as she walked through the tunnels, and could not help but smile wistfully. Would it bar her entrance again? Henry was still there, and she knew that now he'd likely get his chance at her. Usually she came by with Rudi, but she had not been in for a few months now. There was a good reason for that. None of her freinds had seen her though, and she knew they would worry over what had become of her.
She could only hope that this time she would not have that trouble. He might though have forgotten her, and that was going to be a problem for her. Moving towards the back entrance, due to that d**ned sun in the sky, she moved to step through. Immediately, a barrier sprang out of no where, stopping her in her tracks. "d**n!" she swore. Thinking for a moment, she called, "Henry! Can I come in? It's Jenny, out the back door! Barrier blocked me again!" This was most assuredly a pain.
She knew she was wearing black, but she had her reasons. She was mourning.

Henry sat up in his seat, suddenly brightening up. The sun had set, she should be able to go through the front- so why use the back? He walked towards the exit- and opened the back door. "Ah, hello darling. How have you been? You look stunning as usual."
Melody could hear the pub manager charm someone in the back. She wondered silently if they were an item, or simply just flirting. She thought of her fiance, Bane. She watched as the flowers bloomed around her.

She sighed, though she did smile at him. "Not the best, Henry," she replied, moving inside now that that annoying as hell barrier was gone once more. It was not something she had ever done, came in here wearing black. Her whole appearence was dark, even her tattoos were not glowing the brilliant gold which was the normal thing.
Her skin had always been chocolate brown, her hair was midnight black. She wore a short sleeved black top and long black pants. Her black wings were folded a little though they still showed their length.
She moved into the main area, settling at the bar, not caring about the stares she got from the others in the room. the diamond ring that had adorned her ring finger last time she'd been here visiting Henry was gone, and there was no wedding band to replace it... the finger was completely bare.

Henry smiled at her, leading her into the main room. "You could have used the front door," he chuckled. "You know the private entrance round back will have the barrier just like any other building- the front entrance though would have allowed you to walk right through." He paused for a moment, watching as Jenny looked steely as ever- though her eyes were sad. "My lady," he gasped, "What's the matter? I can see such sadness in your eyes."

She sighed, knowing he would have noticed that she seemed a lot more sombre than she had the other many times she had come here. "There was a reason i chose to get myself annoyed by that barrier. I didn't want others to see me before I managed to get rid of all the tears that I've been shedding lately. No one has seen me in months that knows me."
She sighed, raising the hand that was now bare from any rings that it had had the last time he had seen her. The most obvious one he'd notice missing was the one that had meant she was engaged. "Rudi's gone.."
Her shoudlers shook as she spoke those two words. She didn't know what to do with herself now that her werewolf was gone. He was the one that had meant the world to her. He was the one she had fought and won every one of her battles for....

Henry looked at her sadly. He liked him- and knew he was a good werewolf. "Oh, my poor lady." He gently wiped at tear from her cheek, and wrapped his arms around her. "He is still with you in your heart." He thought for a moment before releasing her. "Which means I should prob let you go before he comes and kicks my behind." He sighed, pourinig the woman a drink- a strong liqour for vampires. "Have this," he whispered. "This'll help keep you... strong though your heart breaks."

"He'll never come back to me. He's dead." She sighed. "I've been unable to be found by everyone who has known me for the last three months. Seems I'm not a very good tracker, I've been searching for the ones who killed him. Not having much success. The daylight hampering me is not helpful at all, I lose ground every time that thing rises."
She drank a bit of what he gave her though, coughing for a moment. It was clear from how dark her eyes were that she had not hunted in a long time. It was something that she had not even thought about in a long time. Why look after something as mundane as her own thirst when the one she cared about most was gone from the world? She actually wished that Ashleigh was here, but she knew it was not likely.

Melody glanced at the disheartened woman. She could see her pain; she was after all a healer. she walked up to her, her back straight. "Excuse me- are you ok? I am a healer- maybe I can help?" She had other gifts- though it was rarely used. "I can heal physical and emotional-" A loud shouting interrupted her, cutting her sentence short.
"Curses! Why won't this d**n door open? It's night time for heaven's sake- not the end of the universe!"
Henry frowned, "I know that voice..." He thought for a moment before heading towards the back entrance. "Why didn't you tell me your friends were popping by? I would have left the door open," he cheered.
A woman walked through the door, her head held high as she searched the room with a steeley gaze. "Havoc!" she exclaimed. "I've never seen the likes of it. Everywhere I go- the doors are locked and bolted!"

I didn't know they would be, she replied in Henry's mind.
She knew her wings would give her away but she did not have a chance to answer the younger woman that came over to her, before she heard Ashleigh's voice. She completely froze, seeming to take on a stone like appearance. This was something she had to try and handle. "I'll recover," she said softly.
She did not look towards where Ashleigh was coming from. Her freind should not see her like this, but now that was going to happen for her. It was the inevitable. She rested her head on the counter, her whole body seemed to shake, the feathers on her wings trembling.

Ashleigh looked around, seemly flustered from having a bad day. Suddenly, she stopped herself. Something, someone had caught her attention. "Jen?" she asked, cautiously. "Jen? Is that you?" She took a step closer, glancing at the bar man. "Hiya Henry, How's it going?" She walked over to the woman, frowning with concern. she glanced at Henry's grim expression. Taking a deep breath, she rested a gentle hand on her friend's shoulder. "Jen, what's the matter? Come, let's sit down and we can talk. You've had everyone worried- so I have filled in for you. I didn't want you to be bombareded with problems." She bit her lip, noticing that her bad day had made her ramble. she took another breath. "Please Jen. Talk to me?"

“I'm sorry, Ashleigh.” She sighed, sitting down again. “I've been.. busy, but I didn't want any one to know where I was.... not till now. I know I can't run any more.” Slowly she raised her head. She looked bad, she knew. There were some things though that others did not understand. Not being able to find the words, she raised that hand again, the one that had once held his ring on one finger. “I'll never see him again.”
Her lips trembled. “I've been hunting the ones who did it... hats where I've been, all around the world chasing them.” and not once had she thought to feed herself or look after herself. This was a time when even an arch angel got this way.
"Thank you... for filling in for me..."

Ashleigh looked at her friend for a moment. "I had heard rumours about it- I've been trying to look for you- and fight by your side." She sighed, "But everywhere I go lately, I have been unable to enter through the front door. It's frustrating as hell. How am I suppose to help when all the doors are bolted- they didnt look bolted- but they must be- coz I havent been able to enter." She knew she was rambling again. It came with spending a lot of time alone. "I've done what I can, kept things in order- but some of the vamps are becoming unsettled, wanting to take your place during your absence. I told them no, that you will return when you are ready- and wouldnt appreciate any of them sitting in your seat."

"Karen would have been helping you though there, she at least would not want someone else taking my spot unless Empusa told her I was completely gone from the world."
She sighed. "I guess I better stop moping about and get my butt over there so I can deal with the rest of the others trying to take my spot the whole time I was gone. Gah!" She growled. "I leave for two months and they want me replaced... when I dissapear for eighteen years, due to resetting myself and they don't even try replacing me? That makes no sense to me, what about you?"
She knew her freind would see her point there.

Ashleigh nodded, "I know what you mean. I think they are just assuming you'll be gone another eighteen years again." She yawned, it was getting late. "I've had such a bad day; I can't wait until I finally get some sleep."
