Warren glanced at the woman's worried expression. He sighed, watching her shoulders sag from the stress and worry. She all ready looks defeated, he thought worriedly. "We've a pretty strong army, I am fairly confident that we will win. We just need to think this through differently. We have to change tactics to suit our needs. We need them dead right? So instead of killing them all in one blow, what about killing them off one by one?" It was an idea that he had got from reading a book. "I am sure we shall prevail to see another day," he cheered.

"It's not that I doubt our own strength, Warren. I just happen to know that every single opponent we've got out there wants me dead. They know that while I stand, this world is safe. If I was killed.. well you know that the world we call home would be destroy the minute I died."
I shook my head to clear it. "We'll have to try a lot of different things out there. I don't know how best to breich their defenses."
An issue that was gnawing at my mind in frustration. All I knew was who in particular were the ones directly challenging my leadership of this world. The two enemy leaders. They would have to be taken down, and this time, I would be the one to do it. No one else would be.

Warren cringed through his new scales. "Well, if we take out their sorces, it would leave them hungry and weak. If we also make some small attacks on them during the night, they would be too tired to put up much of a fight. Like you said, we have to try different things, but it don't mean sit and wait until we decide how to fight them. We can not let them rest, or else they would regain their strengths." He knew that Jenny was concerned about their safety, his job though, was not to protect others- his job was to protect her and to fight the Slargons. "I have the memories of every life time that I have fought with the Slargons. I know their usual tactics. I can pretty much assure you, they are not twiddling their thumbs as they decide what method to use. They are preparing for battle, gaining more Slargons and worshippers to join their fight." He knew that he sounded annoyed, but felt that this battle was too important, and there was too much at risk to be gentle. He silently asked for her forgiveness for his tone.

I looked over at Warren again. I knew that there was so much to be worried about, well for me any ways. He only had the task of protecting me. Whereas I had the job of protecting the entire planet. Not the easiest thing for one to admit to.
This was a dire situation, I knew as I listened to his words. “Do what you have to do, Warren. No need for the apology. We'll have to figure this out as we go. I know a direct attack is suicide.”

Warren nodded. "It would serve our purpose better if we kill the enemies off in small doses. Deprive them of their sleep so they are unalert. Then, we can taint their food and drink to make them ill enough to either kill them or make them an easy kill. That way, we won't have too much trouble ending this war. It would just mean it'll go on for a little longer." Ashleigh frowned, "I am guessing that would be our best method of winning."

"Sounds a lot like a tactic used in a series of books I used to read when I was younger. It is a good method, so we'll have to do that." She smiled. "Only one problem, they won't go down easily. I know the weakness of the vampires with Slargon, so they are easily taken care of. The rest though I am not so sure about, but there is a certain herb as well as garlic that my people cannot handle at all. I have some immunity to it, thanks to my human father, but I still am affected."

Warren smiled. "That is how we will taint the food then.We shall stick lots of garlic in to the food. We want enough for it to cause a big blow to them. The water can be drained, transport can be destroyed, and fire materials could be taken to deprive the army from warmth." He thought for a moment. Ashleigh stepped in, taking advantage of the silence. "Cold, hungry and tired enemies? They are not only going to be slow and sluggish; they are going to be extremely moody- maybe we'll get lucky and they'd start attacking each other."

"Just keep the garlic... and vervain, away from me. If I so much as catch a hint of it in the air, well, you'll have one furious vampire on your hands. Same goes for the rest of my people. We cannot stand it. I can get the others to go out to the houses around the area where the other enemy vampires lurk, and instruct the humans who live in the dwellings to not allow anyone meeting certain things into the house. That way no human throats get torn out."
I could ensure that much at least. "If the water gets vervain juice in it, then it will also hurt those who are either vampire or werewolf. Note though that dhampires are not affected by either. Only Altai."

"In that case, I will put enough vervain in the water, and enough garlic in the food to make them blister painfully just from the smell of it. Those fortunate enough not to smell them will eat it, which would be more fortunate for us, to kill them." Ashleigh smiled, grinning darkly as images of the enemies torture raced through her mind.

"Just keep it away from the rest of us and that won't be a problem. I better get the others to head out and start compelling humans in the area. Its a long process, but we'll get it done."
I smiled, knowing that this would be a well matched fight now that we were on the move. "Though Ashleigh, I have to say this. I forbid you from ever using the things I've told you of on the people who I am loyal to."
I sighed. "Thats a thing I have to say, otherwise things can get nasty for me to deal with. It's happened before."

Ashleigh sighed, "Don't worry, I am not about to attack your friends." Warren smiled, "She's only asking you to be careful not to attack the wrong people," he defended. Ashleigh glared at him, "You think I don't know that? You think that you know her better than me?" Warren backed away, looking uncomfortable. "No, no. Of course not," he stuttered. Ashleigh sighed, That'll teach him for thinking he knows my best friend better than me, she thought bitterly.

"Enough Ashleigh and Warren. He might not have heard that, but I certainly did. We all need to work together here. What i said was for everyone to heed, not just one individual!" The words were harsh, she knew, but needed. There was not a chance she was about to let things get out of hand amongst her own allies.
That was something that she would not allow to happen. Only united would any of them stand a chance against the group waiting outside for them. With those thoughts in mind, she turned to the other Altai and were approaching.
"Go to all the houses with humans in residence. Spread out and compel them not to let anyone in who is not freindly. Now!" The Altai split up with their Gaurdians following close behind.

Ashleigh began to mutter under her breath. Warren was trying her patience; and making everyone hate her. "I guess I'm not needed here then. I'm sure you and Warren will be fine without me." Warren smirked, "Yeh, you're better off far from here." Then, he laughed cooly. Ashleigh took the hint, and then raced away, launching herself into the air.

She caught the words said between her freind and Warren. Rounding on him she glared at him. "Can you not think about anynoe else but keeping others away from my freinds? I trust Ashleigh with my life and yet you turn her away so completely. You're lucky i need you, else you'd likely be set on fire for that!"
It was a clear warning to him. Piss her off again, and he would find things a little too hot for his likeing... Or maybe a little too cold. Either she could do and nothing would stop her. "GO after her, and apologise! Now!" She was clearly furious.

Warren smirked, "I can't go after her- I have to stay and protect you." He grinned, "You don't want your friend to think that I left you in danger do you?" He grinned again. "But, if you insist." He turned towards the sky and began to hurry towards Ashleigh.
Ashleigh turned to him with a steel glare. "What you want now? Where's Jenny?" He cleared his throat, looking around for any sign of her friend. "Jenny said that you should not have ran off, and that you should stay away for a while. You're not needed, I am sure you're demon friends would appreciate having you around more. Sorry, but you're not wanted." Ashleigh glared at him, "Fine. I'll do just that." Once again, Ashleigh flew into the sky and headed off into the distance.
Warren returned to Jenny, where she was waiting. Warren smiled, she didn't look too happy. "I told her I am sorry. She turned me away, and said that we would have to deal with the enemies without her. She insists that the demons have asked for her immediate attention."
