Her voice was quiet when he came back and said what he did. "Liar. i heard every word you said to her, through her own head. I should have gone after her myself. You said one thing to her, and you're saying the complete opposite to me. Does it make you feel better, knowing you might just ahve caused my best freind to never talk to me again?"
She sighed as the other Altai started coming back in to her. She couldn't dwell on this now, there were things to be done. She would sort Ashleigh out herself later. Warren was the onee Ashleigh was truly angry at hnot, not her.
"Protector or not, I will have to punish you for this later."

Ashleigh sat on the highest roof of the demon school. She grimanced as she kept a look out for trouble. She thought in her head loudly, hoping that Jenny would be able to hear her thoughts. "I am keeping an eye out; we can deal with Warren after the war is over. For now though, let him think that I am keeping away." She silently hoped that Jenny heard her thoughts.
Warren glanced at Jenny with a small smile. "You need me. I don't want your friend getting under my feet. I can't protect you both," he lied, licking his lips.

'I knew you would see through him. I told him to come find you and apologise for being such an arrogant prick,' Jenny replied mentally, making sure no one but Ashleigh heard her. 'Thank you.' She knew that she could count on her freind. She would not be pleased with Warren, but she would attend to him soon enough. At her own command, all of the Altai converged around her, the Gaurdian's forming a wall aruond them as well. They were all ready for what was coming, and she knew it. This was going to be a hard fight.

'They're coming. Most are holding back. Though, the first wave of troops are pretty hefty,' Ashleigh grimaced. Ashleigh focused for a moment, trying to see if she could send Jenny a mental picture of what was coming. 'They're coming in element groups. The first one is fire. I can see them smoking from here.'
Warren stood beside Jenny, restraining himself not to throw himself at her. The war was making him horny. 'Focus,' he scorned himself.

Though the image Ashleigh sent her was a little hazy, she knew what she was seeing. "Water elementals, get ready!" she called. "They're attacking in elements. Fire's first. Earth, you as well, get ready!" As she said it water seemed to cascade around them, creating a firm sheild that would allow water and earth through, not fire. 'how long?' she asked Ashleigh. 'Thanks again.' There was no chance she was going to let this go bad for her people. not while she still drew breath. She would always fight, no matter what was happening for her own people.

Ashleigh grimaced. 'Not long. No more than a few minutes,' she thought. She paused. 'The picture isn't hazy. It's how big the troops is per element.' Ashleigh frowned, watching as the first wave rushed towards them. 'They are firing up now. Watch out- here it comes!' A roar echoed through the air as the fire came in waves of smoke.

Empusa, give us strength, she thought as she saw them all coming. “Duck!” she shouted. All of them did as her entire body seemed to glow with blue and brown light. Out spread the light. It caught every single fireball, and destroyed them upon contact. “Fire!” she shouted. The wall of watyr and earyth element gifted Altai sent their elements out. Jenny knew that they would not be able to keep it up for long, and her powers were there, strengthening the others as they sent balls of water and spears of earth at the fire elementals. This time, not one of the fire demons managed to get through the walls. ‘What’s next?’ she asked Ashleigh. ‘Which element?’ she knew that there was going to be trouble. She was the one creating the huge shield that wrapped around her army. It was not without a struggle. So many places being hit at once made her struggle to remain the one holding back the other army.

Ashleigh gasped, feeling the anxiety. She was sure that Jenny could sense her uneasiness. 'Spirits help us. Next is fire aswell as Water. They're summoning their powers now. We'll be hit in about 2 minutes.' She held her own arms out, ready to help fight the biggest elemental threat. They must not lose the fight. 'Don't worry though. They don't know I am here. I am fighting from the roof.'

'Nice,' she commmented. Then she groaned. "Watyr, earyth get ready. We've got water and fire coming." As she said it, she called upon a different element completely. Spyrit. When they got closer, I sent one invisible bomb out. It detonated, killing the entire group. What were left standing were destroyed by the others using their elements. There was no doubt I was not showing any mercy. Some of the others were tiring though, and that was starting to worry me. Soon I'd be the only elemental left standing using elements to defend.

Ashleigh grinned, watching as the enemies flew from where they was standing. 'Nice shot,' she admired.
Warren frowned, sending air through to the enemies, spinning a gale force around them. They yelped, though the air soon began to grow dense, causing them to panic. 'Now try to see where you're aiming at!' he grinned. He glanced at Jenny, trying to keep his gaze above her shoulders.

"Always. Not always worth attacking me really. You don't get away with much, when you've got spirit against you.' Something i was completely against at the moment. There was nothing I couldn't do, though I knew there were some things that would tire me out. 'Just doing what a Gaurdian is meant to!' She sighed. "Do you really have to show off? Aren't you meant to be here when I tire or something? Save your strength, Warren." Would he listen this time? She hoped so. There were times when he was more annoying than helpful now.

Warren sighed, "It didn't take much effort. I am just helping. They can't attack if they can't see what or who they are aiming at. It'd also be an advantage to you- attacking them whilst they are defenseless."
Ashleigh kept an eye out, launching a water and fire combo element at the growing troops. 'The troops are growing. I think they just realised that we're prepared for them.'

'They really are idiots, only just realising that,' she replied to Ashleigh. Outloud she replied, "Yes but its harder for me to know if I hit anything any of the time, Warren." Sometimes the things he did were going to make me cringe. Something no one saw all that often, and I did not want anyone to. This was just annoying, having him doing what he was. I was not hitting my targets as easily now, and that was getting annoying. Usually my aim was never one to miss.

Ashleigh frowned, watching over the horizon. Something was going wrong. Slowly, a mist began to appear over the enemy troops. Then, like ghosts, the army disappeared with the mist. 'Hold you're fire, but don't let you're guard down,' she warned them. 'There was a mist, and the whole d**n army disappeared. It could be a trap.' Something ate at her stomach, 'Don't take you're eyes off Warren. I've a bad feeling that this is somehow his doing. He might be under the influence of Kuritous too.'

“Warren, go find where they’ve got to. I’m safe here with all the others. You should be able to handle whatever’s out there. It would seem that they vanished into nowhere. I can’t see them anymore. Some odd mist came by and they all just vanished. Go!” With me still angry with him, he would be best doing as I asked. There was no chance that I was going to let him get away with anything at the moment. Too much was happening and I needed people to do as I commanded, so that we had a fighting chance. “I doubt they just upped and left.” It wasn’t their ways.
