She really was angry now, knowing that Warren had deliberately caused Ashleigh to crumple like that. “Have you gone nuts!” she roared at him. He would pay for what he had just done, she would be sure to ensure he did. Her black wings swept her up out of the battle, aiming right for him. A burst power left her at him, the earth. She'd pulled on the strength of the earth around her, not what was inside her. Oh she knew a lot of tricks when it came to this sort of thing.
She was bleeding from the fighting, there were a few cuts on her cheeks, and several feathers were missing from her wings, but other than that she wasonly a little tired. The earth seemed to heal her, instead of harming her. That was something that she knew how to use to her own advantage in a battle like this. And use it, she would. That was something that she knew was needed in this fight. There was nothing now that seemed to ally her to Warren, after he'd done that. A Kuritos rose before her to try and fight her but she cut him down with one powerful stroke of her sword.
Now though she was getting closer to Warren and she knew that this was the fight she would have to be careful of. "What the hell is wrong with you? That is not something the Protector would do to a freind of the one he is meant to protect!" It was clear she was angry, but there was also a calmness to her mind that kept her aware of everything around her at the moment. She was not pleased with him what so ever. "Leave the battle. You're to leave and not return!"
He would be unwise to stay after she gave such a command. It was clear that she did not need Warren doing such things to her people and freinds. That was something she knew at the moment and it was some thing she was very careful about ensuring. She moved to stand where Ashleigh lay, fighting from there and not moving a single inch, she would not leave her freind ungaurded. That was obvious from her fighting stance. They were fooling with something that was not born on Earth right now. herself. No, she'd been born on another planet!

Ashleigh groaned, wounded and dazed from the near fatal hit. 'I must pretect Jenny,' she thought weakly; climbing to her knees. "Where do you think you're going?" Warren grinned. He kicked her hard back to the ground. Ashleigh collasped with a grunt. Jenny will be fine for now, but just think how much better off she will be without you. He stamped on her head, making her scream. He snorted, hearing Jenny's order to leave. "I've been given my orders," he sneered. He picked Ashleigh up, thrusting her over his shoulders and leapt off from the ground. "Kuritous will pay me greatly for your capture. Without you there, Jenny will be captured too- and then you will both kneel before him as your saviour!"

The wings propelled her from the ground as she heard his last set of words. It was not much but before he could even move she was above him, snatching Ashleigh from him. "Excuse me if I correct you, but Kuritos only wants me dead. And you're taking her no where! If your master wants me, he can come and get me himself!"
It was clear that she was not pleased with him. Flames burst from me, errupting around him. as my own Godess worked to help through me. Though the flames had touched Ashleigh as well, they had not hurt her, instead they had healed her.

Warren glared at her, then glanced at Ashleigh's surprised expression. "I knew you were an ass," Ashleigh growled, "but I thought you really did want to protect Jenny." Warren burst into cold laughter, "You're surprised? Then you're a fool." Ashleigh began to feel stronger from Jenny's flames, whilst Jenny held her in mid air, her toes touching the highest leaves of the tree. She summoned her own elements, wind and fire combined, and thrust it towards him. It whistled as it sent him grunting on impact, forcing his back into another tree. He growled, wings spread, as he struggled to untangle himself from the branches. "You should've left whilst you had the chance," Ashleigh growled. She summoned earth, and sent Warren as a ball of rock, and hurtled him towards the kuritous enemy. The army exploded, knowing that Jenny had reinforced her efforts.

"I knew you had an alternate motive. I was never fooled, you can't think I did not see that going on in your head. Warren." Now she knew what was fighting within her to help her with her strength. There was only one thing that could possibly be giving her the amount of strength that was suddenly flowing through her to the others and helping her staying strong too.
"You're not just fighting me now, but my Godess. Empusa healed Ashleigh, not me personally. I happen to be Empusa's eyes and ears on Planet Earth, and believe me, you'll not be welcome in her realm, Warren when I kill you. She will give me the strength I need to take you down." That was something she knew would happen. "This will not end well for you, Warren."
From me poured spirit, healing those who were still loyal to Ashleigh and I, giving them more strength. More strength to fight. "Beleive me, those who are on the other end of her wrath don't last long." I seemed to glow like a battle angel now. Battle angel was not the right word though for what was happening to her at the moment. No, arch angel was the word for what she was.
Well, she was more an interesting mixture of vampire, demon, werewolf, human, dhampire, and arch angel. She could switch between the many different things that made up her blood at will, and at the moment, she was at here most powerful, the arch angel. Nothing would hurt her in this form, she had armour that was practically unpenetrable.
"So I guess the time comes for you and me to fight, Warren." She would not fight anyone else right now. He needed to be taught a well needed and expected lesson!

Ashleigh glanced up at her friend, staring for a moment in awe. "Wow. You haven't been in that form for almost a century. I had almost forgotten you could do that." In the distance, they could hear Warren laughing at them. Mocking them. 'There are no goddesses. There is only me,' he thought loudly. Ashleigh sighed, Jenny looked amazing as a arch angel. She felt her strength continue to grow, and then finally, was strong enough to hold her own weight. She silently thanked her friend. "I wish I could do that," she mumbled, "I could be a lot more help with a goddess too- switching breeds like you do."

"Once this fight is over, Empusa wants to meet you, Ashleigh." She smiled and then, her expression didn't actually change, instead there came to be a steelly look to her. Then she leapt towards the sky, thrusting herself up quickly. Before Warren could even move, she was on top of him, tackling him where he was and pummelling him with the elements.
Her warriors seemed to draw more strength from her sudden changing. Soon the battle seem to swing in their favour. "Want a bet, Warren? You're pathetic you know." She seemed to strike at him with a vengence that was only seen when she really was angry. She could feel even her own goddess' anger coming from her. It was not really her that was fighting, but Empusa.
No one saw the real her unless it was needed. There were others though here that knew what had happened. All the Gaurdians present knew that Empusa had taken hold of the situation. And she was angry. "I trusted you, and this is what you bring on top of me? Now you're going to pay for it."
Everytime she attacked, one of the elements hit him, sometimes even lightning and ice.

Warren plummeted to the ground. The Kuritous army troops backed away, watching as Warren layed helplessly on the floor- begging the goddess, begging Jenny for mercy. "Please, don't kill me. I will do whatever you want!" Even Ashleigh, as weak as she was; still recovering from warren's attack, knew that he was lying. The kuritous ran, stumbling into each other as they raced away.
What do you want me to do? she asked Empusa in her own mind. He's lying, call me onto the field and I will deal with him. You have my strength, so you will have no trouble doing it, Empusa told her. Jenny nodded mentally and then looked towards the sky though her mind was focused on Warren at the moment. "Ayre, Watyr, Fyre, Earyth and Spyrit, come to do my bidding and bring our Godess, Empusa here to the battle field!" she commanded. Each element seemed to manifest in a circle physically able to be seen as Jenny called it. White, blue, red, green and gold. There was a flash of gold and where the circle had been, stood a tall proud seeming woman. She was almost alike to Jenny, and like Jenny there was an other-worldly aura to her. The only difference was a slightly lighter skin colour. Lightning lit up the sky as she spoke the first time. "You call to me, and I have come. What have you to say for yourself, Warren!" Power, unbridled, rang from the words as she spoke to him.
Ashleigh stared in wonder and awe. She seemed to have everthing well in hand. Warren glared at the woman, trying not to think how much he was shaking. "It's not my fault- they made me do it! They offered me eternal life- how could I refuse?!"
"There are some things that are better than Eternal life, Warren. Not to mention there are... easier ways to get such things. Had you spoke to me about such a thing, I would have given you it, without you having to do a thing for me in return." Empusa sighed, looking at him. It was clear her actual appearance had shocked him. "Yet I see why you did not ask me for guidance in this matter. You seemed to believe that I did not exist. Now though, you know that I am real, don't you." She seemed to stare at him, with those all knowing eyes, which captured his gaze too well for him to be able to focus on anything but her. In a way, death was staring him in the face, but that was not something that he faced at the moment. She seemed to come to a decision, and both Jenny and her three personal Gaurdians moved forwards. "I will not have him killed, but he will be imprisoned, in a vampire only place. That way he cannot escape. For fifty years he will stay there. Once the time frame is up, Jenny will summon me, and I will talk with you again Warren. Think on what you've done, because I will expect a better reason in fifty years time." "You're leaving already?" Jenny asked. Empusa turned to look at her for a second. "No, my child. I believe there is someone else here whom I will talk with before I go." She was smiling fully now though, as she looked from Jenny, to.. Ashleigh.
"You want to talk- to me? But.. I'm a demon." She couldn't famthom why she would be of any interest to a goddess.
"A demon perhaps in appearence, but not in your soul, Ashleigh. You are much more to me than just any demon, my child. Even the demon goddess Sardonia and I agree on that. Many hardships you've help my dearest daughter, Jenny pull through. For those many times, I thank you, Ashleigh. I have seen you through Jenny's eyes the whole time, and she was not biased at any time which I have been watching things at." There were so many things that she could say at the moment. That much she knew. "I owe you things that I never thought I would. Why my vampires have been so... agressive towards you and your kind I do not know. At times, you have proven more noble than my vampires, well, excluding Jenny of course... seeing as she is partly what I am, an arch angel."
Ashleigh grinned, bowing to the goddess. "I try my best. I don't give any demon or Vampire a hard time unless it's necissary. I don't want to see my friends hurt. And Jenny is the best friend I have ever had." She watched in awe at the arch angel. "I'd love to be an arch angel- I can do so much more to help. There's little I can do about the Kuritous. I dont think they'll sit tight for too long. They all ready have been quite for a week."
She smiled again as she looked at Ashleigh with those gentle eyes. "If that is what you truly wish you were, then I can make it so, and it will not affect your standing as a demon. seeing as Sardonia and I have talked for many hours about you. After all.. the pair of us are sisters." Empusa smiled. "She is very proud of you, Ashleigh. more so than you know." That was something that again rang truth in her words.
Ashleigh grinned. "That'd be amazing!" "I can do a lot more that way- and still keep my status as head demon." She grinned for a moment. Though they had spoken about Sardonia, she had not yet met her.
"Some time soon, my sister will reveal herself to you, Ashleigh. Give her time and she will. She knows that I am here right now, walking this planet like any other mortal, but we cannot both be here at once, it would throw the planet into disarray." She smiled though, walking forwards towards Ashleigh. Her footsteps were light, graceful like a cats, yet without sound. once she was close enough one hand moved out to rest on Ashleighs shoulder. "Then so it will be." A tiny slither of her own immortality seemed to move from her, to merge within Ashleigh's soul. "With this gift, comes immortality as well, Ashleigh. use my gift wisely, for it can be removed." Moving away, she crouched next to Warren. "Your powers Warren, I take back from you. Back to a normal human you will go, and within the cell I have spoken of to my Gaurdian's as a mortal human, you will spend your time." She knew that for him it would be painful having every shread of his powers being revoked, whereas for Ashleigh it had been a light and gentle twinge she would have felt somewhere near her heart.

Warren screamed, feeling his powers gripping on to his soul as it got ripped out of him. "Arrrrgh!" he screamed again, before slumping to the floor. He was mortal again, powerless- a mere human being. "How long is my sentence? How long will I be in the cell for?" he demanded.
Ashleigh, who appeared not to have heard him, stared into the wall, smiling. "That was..." she couldn't find the words to describe it. It was as though, the final piece of her heart and soul had been found and slotted into place. She felt whole. A tear rolled down her cheek. Puzzled, she wiped away the tear and frowned. "A tear? Why am I doing that?" she mused. Deep within, where the arch angel laid dorment, ready to be summoned, she all ready knew the answer.

"Fifty years, and that won't change any time soon, Warren," one of the Gaurdians moving away with him spoke. "It's the longest sentebce any one of us could ever get. not to mention no one has ever been that bad that she's removed their powers as well." Then again he had gotten what he deserved at the moment.
Empusa smiled. "Without their leaders, the Kuritos are useless. seeing as I charmed that jail so nothing that does not have my favour can go in, he won't be able to get out any time soon." She chuckled. Then she replied to Ashleigh. "Arch angels are the purest of creatures known in this world. It might be confusing at first for you, but you will get used to it."

Warren glared at them, stumbling to his feet. Their backs were turned as they watched Ashleigh get the feel of her gift. silently, he rushed away, disappearing into the trees. Before they could take him to his sentence, he was gone.
Ashleigh looked around, noticing that Warren had run away. "He'll be back," she mused. "The Kuritous would be looking for him- and to kill him for his failure."

"Stupid human," Jenny hissed. She looked towards her other Gaurdians. "Find him!" They nodded, leaping into the sky, it would not take long for them to find him. And kill him before they do! That was something that happened to any traitor. She had been hardened by all this fighting, but that little popular high school girl was still in her somewhere, only locked away tightly in this sort of situation.
"He's not going to get away from my Gaurdians," she said, looking at her freind. She did not add what her silent command had been. That was the one angel talent she had that no other angel would have, mind reading.

Warren rushed through the trees, feeling the hot trail of the guardians. He stopped abruptly, staring into the eyes of the Kuritous. He cringed, as he sat on the grass. He was dead either way. He dug into his pocket and pulled out a knife. "No one can have this satisfaction," he growled. He looked up at the sky, watching the guardians fly towards him. Then, in one swift motion, he plundged the dagger into his heart. He crumbled to the ground, dead before the kuritous or the guardians reached him. His last thought before his senses and spirit diminshed remained, an echo of his consious that was no longer there, remained like a whisper in the trees. "You can all fight over my remains. You have both lost."

Suicidal human? thought one of the Gaurdian's as they turned around and headed back the way they had gone. Now they would have to be doubly on their gaurd against the Kuritos. Their numbers were shaken, badly, but they would pull through this.
They landed and one spoke. "Warren is dead. He took his own life before either the Kuritos or us could deal with him in our own different ways."
Jenny snorted. What a fool. It would not have been as painful if the Gaurdians had done it... more like falling into a deep unescapable sleep.

Ashleigh sighed, she wasn't too surprised. She thought silently for a mmoment- she wasn't just a demon no more. "I have an idea," she said calmly. "Since I am half arch angel- as well as Jenny is- maybe as arch angel's we can beat the Kuritous without delaying the war for too long."
