"You need to learn to control your powers yet, Ashleigh. We cannot fight until you have and that takes time i am afraid," Jenny replied. "I've had centuries to do that. You're only new. I can train you, but its going to take time. I suggest we all stay at my school for now, until you've learnt at least the fundamentals." She smiled at her freind. "I'm not letting you fight until then. It won't take long."

Ashleigh groaned but she understood. "All right," she mumbled. She looked around and went to sit on a large rock.

"Sorry Ash, but would you want to fight without knowing your full abilities even a little? That would be suicide really." She smiled though to take the sting out of her words. It was clear that she meant no harm from what she had said, though her freind might think differently.
She just had to keep everyone safe. It was no easy task, but she would be able to do it. "Have you seen Lucien or the others at all?" she asked. She wondered how the other Gaurdian's had fared in the battle, she'd lost track of them.

Ashleigh frowned, "Im not sure. I haven't seen them for a while either." she frowned, thinking for a moment. "I wonder where they have wandered off to..."

'Lucien?' I called with my mind. 'Henry? Where are you guys.' No matter how far from me, they would not be able to ignore that call. It was one that demanded a reply. And It would get one, unless they wanted to find me very angry with them when I found them.
I was not one to be messed with when thigns were not working properly. This was one thing though that i could not have. "Perhaps we should head back to Henry's bar, they may have returned there. I wonder if that human policewoman is still there."

Sarah Cox sat up from the floor, groaning at her aching back. "When am I getting out of here?" she mumbled. The room was silent and empty as it had been for the last past month. She was tired, and hungry. And she was bored.

Sarah rose from the floor, dusting herself down as she stood up. She reached for the bar and poured herself a drink. In the corner of her eye, she could see a couple of women standing in the door way, whispering urgently. She frowned, wondering what could be the matter.

She smiled though as she came into the bar, spotting Sarah. "You can head off if you want, Sarah. It's safe out there now." She sighed though, she was shaken from the amount of injuries she had sustained herself. There was a lot of blood all over her, but this was starting to fade away as she healed like any other vampire. There were some things that you could not ignore. That was one of the signs of her not being human if the markings on her face were not point enough of that.
"Henry? Lucin?" she called loudly. "Where are you guys?"

Henry shrugged, "I think that Lucin left a while ago. Something about trouble at the schools." Ashleigh shook her head, she was sure there was no trouble there- she had just checked.

"Somehow I don't know that is true. I'd know if there was trouble atmy school. Thanks though for the heads up, I guess we better be getting back there just in case. Good thing that they are next door to each other." She sighed, There was not ever a chance at peace was there? She knew though that there was going to be trouble eventually for them again. "I know that there will be more trouble in the future, but I don't plan on it sneaking up on us without our knowledge." She smiled at him. "Thank you agian, Henry."

Henry nodded, beaming at her like a school boy with a crush. "Glad to help," he cheered, looking slightly flushed. Ashleigh rolled her eyes, watching the man chuckle and bow. "Henry mate, you're over doing it a little. You don't want to look desprate." Henry laughed lightly, regaining control of his posture. "Thanks Ashleigh. I forgot myself for a moment." Ashleigh sighed, bidding the man goodbye as she followed Jenny back towards the school.
At the school, the grounds was silent and dark. Ashleigh narrowed her eyes, watching as the familiar surroundings became onerous. "Doesn't something feel..." she searched for the right word. "Wrong," she finished. She bit her lower lip, glancing uneasily at Jenny. "Something feels wrong. Something is here that doesn't belong on these grounds." There was silence; Ashleigh closed her eyes; somehow using her own gifts to search the grounds. She couldn't understand how it works- only that she could use it occasionally to search areas without detection. Ashleigh opened her mouth as said a single word. "Slargons," she hissed.

"I bet he wants to get me back from when I stabbed him in the heart. Should have killed him too, only i know he got away, I can hear him."
"Too right I do," hissed the same one who was responsible for Rudi's death. he stepped out from the group that was already surrounding Jenny and Ashleigh. "Only this time, I will claim you both as my minions."
"Go to hell!" Jenny spat. "We'll never join you..." She was thinking quickly to come up with a plan to get rid of the group surrounding them. There had to be at least fifty.

Ashleigh looked around, feeling unsettled by the large number. "Maybe we should call Melody?" Ashleigh asked quietly. She thought for a moment, realising there was no time and quickly retracted her suggestion. "Actually," she reasoned, "Maybe it'd be a good idea to fight as arch angels. We'd be stronger and have the godesses added strength. We might be able to finish this battle quickly." Her own words sounded forced, the tone uneasy and feeble- but it was the only idea she had. She summoned her gift, ready to release the angel at a moment's notice. "Ready?"

She nodded. Then she leapt forwards, her body changing as she lunged for one of them, cutting him down in a single stroke. For a moment the enemies were stunned by her sudden attack and it gave her enough time to behead five more. Then they seemed to recover and attack themselves. She growled as feathers rained out from her wings catching at least twenty in the throat. It was clear she knew what she was doing at the moment.

The sun was rising, and still Callaiel worked to make sure no demons, vampires or werewolves, much less any other denizons of the Netherworld were still about in the human real. Unfortunately, since no other angels ever bothered to stick around, and help, she found herself heading toward the portals back to the Netherworld too late. Knowing it was too risky for her to use one now, she flew higher into the sky, thinking. I need to hide. The church I go to is too far. Then she remembered words about a bar of some sort that was apparently ‘between’ the realms. Perhaps she could stay there until night fell on Earth once more. Grandfather will worry, but this I have to do. The dark haired, pale skinned Arch Angel flew along using all four of her wings, two smaller and mainly for balance and turning, the larger two at the top of her body did most of the work. She was armour clad, but that was not unusual for her. At last she landed at the entrance, and headed inside. This time at least she was unharmed though she knew she needed to clean her swords.
